I think I like street photography. The Pentax 645N is an unwieldy thing for such photography but these two shots seem to have captured a brief moment in time and the subjects are seemingly unaware of my focus on them. The light is good and the film has given the shots a timeless quality that just would not be achieved with digital. These shots are of a small market typical of those you find on the streets of large French towns. Specifically, I took these in Saumur, our favourite place in France where we take the caravan most summers.
